Regional Sales Manager

Position Description

Clear Star Aviation is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow scheduled maintenance and AOG services for both general aviation and turbine aircraft. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for seeking new prospects, creating relationships, working up quotes, and scheduling jobs.ย  The Regional Sales Manager will support the customerโ€™s experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for:

  1. Develop new business through visiting, calling, and emailing prospective clients
  2. Deliver presentations to promote company brand and services
  3. Meet established sales goals
  4. Host clients at our maintenance facilities or other locations
  5. Prepare a draft quote and schedule service
  6. Be the primary point of contact for the client throughout the repair
  7. Identify market trends and make suggestions for untapped areas of opportunity
  8. Coordinate with marketing team on strategy and materials development
  9. Provide routine and timely updates to the CEO and DOM

Experience

  • Possess previous sales experience at an MRO facility or equivalent
  • Must have technical understanding of turbine aircraft.ย  Hands-on technician experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience with maintenance tracking software and customer relationship management (CRM) software is helpful
  • The ideal candidate will bring a background in aviation maintenance and an established list of industry contacts to hit the ground running

Skills

  • Must possess excellent organizational and computer skills
  • Must be goal-oriented, have exceptional attention to detail, and work well independently and with a team

Education

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent work/life experience
    • Degree concentration in sales or business management preferred
