Regional Sales Executive - School Partnerships & Sales Growth
Inter-State Studio & Publishing Co. is looking for a Regional Sales Executive to join our team for the Texas Region and surrounding area!
Inter-State Studio is a family-owned school photography and yearbook company that has been successfully serving schools for over 90 years.
By listening to the needs of our customers and utilizing the latest technologies, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality school portraits and yearbooks with affordable pricing and excellent service.
Position Overview:
The Regional Sales Executive plays a key role in driving new business and supporting territory growth. This position focuses on building a strong pipeline of prospective schools, executing regional sales strategies, and partnering closely with Territory Managers, District Managers, and Marketing.
This is a hybrid role with a strong field presence, approximately 60% travel for in-person school visits and 40% remote work.
What you'll be doing:
Sales & Prospecting
  • Build and manage a personal pipeline of prospective school accounts
  • Conduct cold outreach, school visits, presentations, and follow-ups
  • Execute company sales process (approach, interview, presentation)
  • Partner with Territory Managers to align on goals and high-priority opportunities

Territory & Relationship Support
  • Support rebooking efforts and maintain relationships with existing schools
  • Conduct site visits and ensure smooth handoff of new accounts to Territory Managers
  • Provide additional support during peak sales periods and regional initiatives

Bids, RFPs & Sales Operations
  • Manage full bid/RFP process including coordination, submission, and follow-up
  • Gather pricing, documentation, and compliance materials across teams
  • Track pipeline activity, bids, and customer interactions in HubSpot

Events & Collaboration
  • Assist with planning and attending regional events and conventions
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Publishing, and Operations
  • Share field insights to improve sales strategy, tools, and messaging

What we'll need from you:
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and close new business
  • Comfortable with frequent outbound phone and email outreach
  • Experience using a CRM system (HubSpot preferred)
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly and conduct in-person school visits
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territories

Preferred
  • Experience selling to schools, school districts, or educational organizations
  • Familiarity with school photography, yearbooks, or related services
  • Experience supporting or managing trade shows or conventions
