Job description

Position Title: Outside Sales Executive
The Outside Sales Executive plays a crucial role in driving business growth by engaging with clients in the field. This position is responsible for selling premium products to various sectors, including municipalities and industrial markets. The ideal candidate will thrive in a competitive environment and possess the skills necessary to build relationships and demonstrate product value. The role includes extensive travel and hands-on equipment demonstrations, requiring a proactive approach to sales. Successful candidates will enjoy a supportive company culture that fosters growth and collaboration.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 / Year DOE
Outside Sales Executive Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field activities Monday through Thursday and administrative tasks on Fridays
  • Map out weekly territory plans and manage customer accounts
  • Follow up on product performance and quotes
  • Demonstrate equipment effectively to clients
  • Engage in cold calling and site visits to expand client base
  • Attend trade shows and conduct business-to-business sales calls
  • Collaborate with team members to schedule equipment demonstrations
  • Participate in extensive product training and factory visits

Outside Sales Executive Requirements:
  • Outside B2B sales experience, preferably 2-4 years
  • Willingness to conduct in-field equipment demonstrations and deliveries
  • Clean driving record sufficient for Class B eligibility
  • Class B Commercial Driver's License or willingness to obtain it
  • Comfortable with extensive in-field work and overnight travel
  • Experience selling into municipalities, utilities, or related sectors is preferred
  • Existing Class B CDL is preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
  • Existing network in relevant municipalities or private accounts is preferred
