If you are a consultative, numbers-savvy outside sales professional who thrives on managing the full-cycle sales process for major corporate accounts, this high-impact role is your next career destination.
National Account Executive Responsibilities:
As a National Account Executive, you will report directly to the Director of National Sales and own the full-cycle sales process-from lead generation and sophisticated estimating to closing and post-sale follow-through.
  • Expand National Footprint: Develop, secure, and nurture long-term strategic relationships with key national accounts across the United States.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Utilize a multi-channel approach to capture market share, including corporate entertainment, industry trade shows, direct outreach, referrals, and targeted cold calling.
  • Technical Estimation & Bidding: Analyze blueprints, architectural specifications, proposals, and labor/material costs to prepare accurate, competitive, and highly profitable project bids.
  • Cross-Functional Consultation: Act as the subject matter expert for clients and subcontractors, collaborating seamlessly with internal field and administrative teams to schedule and execute projects flawlessly.
  • Pipeline Management: Proactively track and report on sales pipeline status, market trends, competitor activity, and core sales KPIs.

National Account Executive Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Sales Track Record: Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated Outside Sales experience. Experience managing high-value National Accounts is a major plus.
  • Industry Acumen: 5+ years of sales experience within a construction, paving, landscaping, or corporate facilities/operations market is highly preferred.
  • Estimating & Analytical Skills: Proven ability to interpret complex estimating guidelines. Because this role requires high-level bidding, excellent math and geometry skills are essential.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the polish to present to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Travel Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% nationwide to meet with clients and inspect project sites.

Position Details:
  • Compensation: $100,000-$130,000 base salary + eligibility to earn uncapped commissions
  • Benefits: Competitive base salary plus uncapped earning potential, medical/PPO/HSA options, 401(k) matching, and generous paid time off.
  • Location: Villa Park, IL or Ft. Lauderdale, FL
