Job description

Purpose:

Plan and implement selling strategies in order to develop customer relations with targeted customers, in an assigned territory. Achieve targeted goals in measurable categories of gross margin contribution, market share-driving sales, and management of used equipment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve annual goals established by Heritage Tractor for specific measures of performance
  2. Communicate the features and benefits of John Deere and related equipment and the value HTI can deliver to improve the customers operation
  3. Develop a call schedule and frequently call the top customer in their area of responsibility
  4. Continually develop technical knowledge of equipment and the value it delivers to the customer
  5. Understanding of technology skills to effectively work with internal operating systems
  6. Responsible for company equipment and other resources
  7. Improve customer relations through building a high level of trust and delivering on commitments made
  8. Use available resources to improve time management skills and drive efficiencies in daily activities
  9. Support a team effort within the sales group and location functions to drive the overall success of the business
  10. Build customer loyalty through an on-going commitment to exceed their expectations
  11. Other duties as assigned
