The Business Leadership team builds strong client relationships that drive positive outcomes for their business. The Media Director will proactively offer industry updates, performance insights and opportunities to team leadership and clients. They will be responsible for overseeing flawless execution of media campaigns and developing the skill and knowledge base of those more junior while supervising, advising, and providing counsel to direct report(s).
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day management of client media plans and budgets, including flowcharts, budget trackers, billing oversight, media authorizations, and financial stewardship to ensure accuracy and timeliness across all campaigns.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for media budget management and operational coordination across internal teams, including Partnership Investments, Kinesso, Analytics and specialty agency partners.
  • Lead and manage client communications, ensuring responsiveness, proactive issue resolution, and flawless execution across all deliverables and requests.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, partner agencies, and cross-functional teams to foster collaboration, trust, and integrated solutions aligned to business goals and KPIs.
  • Participate in and lead client meetings, briefings, proposals, recommendations, and points of view while demonstrating a strong understanding of client business objectives, category dynamics, and competitive activity.
  • Develop and oversee integrated media strategies and plans across all channels, including TV (Upfront experience preferred), video, audio, digital, programmatic, and emerging platforms, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and business priorities.
  • Partner with Strategy, Audience Sciences, and other specialty teams to deliver innovative, insight-driven media recommendations and best-in-class client work.
  • Monitor media performance, industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to identify optimization opportunities, surface actionable insights, and introduce new media and technology solutions.
  • Ensure seamless campaign execution through coordination of creative asset delivery, media authorizations, and operational workflows across agency and client teams.
  • Act as a strategic and operational leader across one of Mediahub's largest accounts, balancing priorities while maintaining high standards of quality, organization, and client service.
  • Mentor, develop, and lead high-performing teams through coaching, workload management, performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative, goal-oriented culture.
  • Create and articulate a clear vision for client teams and media initiatives, ensuring alignment around strategic direction, innovation, and business impact.
  • Present confidently to clients, agency leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders, translating complex media strategies into clear, compelling recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience in an integrated planning role in media, publisher / vendor, or communications discipline (digital, content)
  • Ability to delegate and oversee direct reports
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with senior clients, colleagues, and vendors
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience/involvement in new business planning and strong presentations skills
  • Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

The salary range for this position is posted below.
