Position Summary:

Responsible for sales and business development strategies and action plans to ensure growth, opportunities and profitability in different markets in LAC region excluding Brazil.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement a sales and business development vision and strategy to ensure growth, profitability and achieve expected goals in different markets in the LAC region.
  • Create and monitor business-detailed action plans to improve distribution, channel, market share and cross-functional team alignment.
  • Seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the organization's business strategy.
  • Develop organizational positioning analyses and studies to identify, investigate, evaluate and negotiate contracts, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organization's long-range goals.
  • Identify market trends and create sales programs to go along with changes in each specific market as needed.
  • Identify potential partnerships to maximize sales and business opportunities in different regions
  • Gather and maintain competitive product-pricing information. Develop and maintain regional market pricing models for complete portfolio of products. Establish pricing strategies, recommended sales prices, discount structures.
  • Foster relationships with dealers and key OEMs, working with customers create long-term credible relationships.
  • Monitor business-improvement action plans andincrease market share in different countries
  • Analyze budget and sales forecast for different markets in the region
  • Continually provide product teams with competitors' prices, programs, strategies and plans.
  • Position requires international travels up to 70%.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and master's degree or equivalent preferred
  • 10-20 years of experience in business development and sales management in Latin America different markets, managing and motivating sales teams .
  • Solid experience in Latin America reseller channel markets gained from marine industry or similar.
  • Strong business development skills
  • Solid analytical and strategic abilities
  • Ability to motivate, organize and drive different cultural teams.
  • Experience in multicultural skills and sensitivities required to deal with different regional cultures around Latin America regions
  • Develop plans and deliver results in fast-changing businesses and/or regulatory environments
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Office and able to navigate in various programs is required

The hiring range for this position is $118,400 to $174,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
