We are hiring one Recruiter to begin mid-August 20026. The Recruiter position is a unique opportunity to build relationships with university students and staff, travel to visit college campuses, and to help recruit the next generation of Jesuit Volunteers for our program. As a Recruiter, you will share your own story as a volunteer, while educating prospective volunteers about the structure of the JV programs and the organizations four core values of intentional community, simple living, social and ecological justice, and spirituality and reflection. This Recruiter will be responsible for a particular region to be determined, while working with the Recruitment Team on join initiatives, idea generation, and more. Working with a collaborative team, the Recruiter position for JVC Northwest can be based remotely from anywhere in the United States, with preference for locales near schools where we recruit or near major airline hubs.
Organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are important. We are a faith-based organization with a focus on our core values of community, simple living, social and ecological justice, and spirituality.
Undergraduate degree required. Former Jesuit Volunteers or National Service Members preferred. Each Recruiter is employed at will. Successful clearance of pre-employment reference checks and criminal history background checks required for final hire. JVC Northwests generous benefits package includes full medical/dental/optical coverage for the employee, disability and life insurance, and an employer-sponsored retirement plan. There are 12 paid holidays, 15 days of vacation, and retreat time. The Recruiter is a full-time, exempt role. The salary for this position is $45,000 annually.
