About the Role
Amteck is seeking a motivated part-time Marketing Specialist to support our Marketing & Communications team at our Lexington headquarters. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional with some experience in digital marketing, website content management, digital ad campaign creation, or social media advertising. While experience in all areas is not required, candidates with exposure to one or more of the tools listed below are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with updating and maintaining website content, primarily using WordPress
  • Support digital advertising efforts, including Google Ads, Meta ads, etc. (campaign setup, monitoring, or reporting)
  • Help manage and update Microsoft SharePoint pages used for internal communication
  • Perform general marketing support tasks, such as content updates, proofreading, and organization of digital content
  • Assist with administrative and office-related tasks as needed
  • Support special marketing projects, campaigns, or initiatives throughout the summer
  • Collaborate with the Lexington-based marketing team on day-to-day priorities

Preferred Skills & Experience
(Experience in all areas is not required)
  • Familiarity with WordPress (preferred) or other website management systems
  • Exposure to Google Ads or other digital advertising platforms (Meta, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint pages
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • BONUS: Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
  • BONUS: Interest or experience in social media management or video content creation

Qualifications
  • A degree or experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field (the right student candidate will be considered)
  • Comfortable working in an office environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
