Job description

Brayman Construction is seeking a Part-Time detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Clerk to support our growing Human Resources team in Saxonburg, PA. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This role will offer 15-20 hours per week and a flexible schedule Monday - Friday between 8am-5pm.


Human Resource Clerk Position Summary

As a Human Resources Clerk, you will play an important role in supporting employee onboarding, maintaining HR records, assisting with recruitment-related activities, and helping ensure HR processes run smoothly across the organization.


Human Resource Clerk Position Responsibilities

  • Completes and maintains data entry on new hires / rehires, union and non-union, into HR system. Ensures accuracy of information.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR Department, including but not limited to filing, scanning, copying, and uploads.
  • Perform audits of HR files to assure required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Creates and maintains onboarding information packets for the purpose of ensuring new employees are knowledgeable of company benefits, policies and procedures.
  • Manages company wide database for internal/external communications
  • Coordinates marketing material for job fairs in conjunction with Recruiters.
  • Assists with onsite employee activities
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.

Human Resource Clerk Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of experience in a Human Resources or related role.
  • Experience using HR Software or HRIS system preferred.

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Project sites contain various safety hazards associated with heavy construction. This position may require working at heights, around heavy equipment, and under constantly changing circumstances.
