What are Human Resources?

Human Resources (HR) is a department within organizations responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, hiring, training, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. In addition to leadership responsibilities, you will maintain your own portfolio of client accounts, providing ongoing HR support, including employee relations guidance, policy interpretation, payroll processing, payroll and benefits questions, hiring support, and other HR generalist responsibilities.

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex employee relations or compliance issues
  • Support the development and growth of HR Advisors

  • Like variety and can manage multiple clients and priorities
  • Enjoy coaching leaders and solving complex workplace challenges
  • Take initiative and work well independently
  • Enjoy mentoring other HR professionals and improving HR systems and processes

This Role May Not Be a Fit If…

  • You prefer a highly structured role with the same responsibilities every day
  • You are looking for a purely strategic HR role with no hands-on HR work
  • You prefer supporting a single internal organization rather than multiple clients

Why People Love This Role

  • Work with a variety of organizations and industries
  • Solve meaningful workplace challenges every day
  • Influence people, strategy, and organizational culture
  • Mentor and support other HR professionals
