Job description

SignalXi, a sales and business consulting firm, is seeking an Entry Level Account Executive  for AT&T Retail. The Entry Level Account Executive will manage customer accounts, provide service support, and assist with sales of AT&T cell phones and wireless devices in our retail stores.

As an Entry Level Account Executive, you'll be training in account management and sales strategy within our AT&T retail. The Entry Level Account Executive will practice engaging customers, learning how to demonstrate device features, explain plan options, and document accounts accurately. You'll shadow experienced Account Managers during face-to-face customer interactions about the latest cell phones and wireless devices.

Responsibilities of the Entry Level Account Executive

  • Welcome returning guests by name and reference their AT&T wireless account history to make face-to-face sales conversations personal and account-aware.
  • Guide account updates in store, like plan changes or device swaps for AT&T cell phones, ensuring smooth transitions that support account retention and future sales.
  • Proactively reach out to accounts showing low engagement, offering helpful AT&T wireless tips that rebuild connection and reopen sales dialogue.
  • Strengthen account retention by resolving concerns on the spot during retail visits, showing reliability that keeps AT&T wireless clients open to future sales.
  • Identify cross-account opportunities by understanding households' needs, then recommending AT&T cell phones that grow account footprint through smart sales.
  • Track account performance metrics like upgrade frequency or satisfaction scores to refine how AT&T wireless value is communicated, keeping in-store sales tactics account-focused and effective.

Qualifications of the Entry Level Account Executive 

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in sales or account management is a plus.
  • Presents AT&T smartphones, accessories, and wireless plans with confident, benefit‐driven communication that supports account retention.
  • Manages customer needs, device interests, and account updates with accuracy and a positive, sales‐minded attitude.
  • Embraces AT&T’s training programs to build stronger account‐management and sales capabilities.
