About the Accounting Supervisor position

We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor that is excellent at QuickBooks Online to help us with daily management of accounting department's operations. You will have to ensure our financial management is accurate and efficient. Your duties will include collaborating with the accounting team to oversee their financial functions such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and tax audits.

We expect you to possess strong analytical skills and have experience in creating detailed financial reports and forecasts. You should be an excellent problem-solver, and have experience in team management.

Accounting Supervisor responsibilities are:
  • Review daily transactions such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger and so on

  • Monitor the accounting personnel's performance, on a daily basis

  • Take part in tax audits and payroll

  • Ensure that accounting and financial objectives are met, and all operations are in compliance with legal regulations

  • Create budgeting reports and prepare revenue forecasts

  • Supervise month-end and year-end closing operations

  • Manage financial documentation, keeping it complete and updated

  • Develop accounting policies, procedures and approval flows in accordance with business targets

Accounting Supervisor requirements are:
  • 3+ years' experience of working on an Accounting Supervisor position

  • Profound experience with bookkeeping and accounting procedures

  • Excellent practical experience with accounting software QuickBooks Online

  • Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and best practices, as well as related legal regulations

  • Advanced experience with MS Office, particularly with MS Excel

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large amounts of data

  • Strong team management skills and ability to define priorities

  • Accuracy and close attention to details

  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance; accounting certification (such as CMA or CPA) will be a bonus
