Position: Technology Manager

Location: 1 Freedom Valley Drive, Oaks, PA 19456

Job Duties: The Technology Manager manages development projects from design through implementation, as well as utilizes the following: API concepts, API gateway, and API/Proxy Management; Drupal (a CMS platform); API strategies within the financial/banking industry; Agile methodologies with Atlassian products; development resources to coordinate releases in a cross-functional environment; development management and IT architecture design/implementation experience including driving estimates and dates for work items, and technical design against complex requirements; and Apigee and Apigee Edge. The Technology Manager works within the Technology Unit working with API development teams, API consumers, technical operations and infrastructure. Job duties include the following: leading API/Proxy development projects, Developer Portal enhancements, and upgrade coordination, as well as providing detailed technical support through research, analysis, and resolution of issues; maintaining documentation concerning policies, best practices, and configurations, as well as training materials; managing the full SDLC process for API/Proxy development technologies; leading/guiding members of the development team to accomplish assigned projects and tasks; providing expertise on core applications and application process, including leading efforts for 3rd level support on critical production issues; participating in release and implementation projects; promoting Agile methodologies and DevOps principles; taking ownership of your projects - understanding the underlying technology and business use cases for your system; working with Product Management, Product Owners, and technical Business Owners to help ensure strategy and execution alignment, including the development of a product roadmap; and staying on top of cutting-edge advances, emerging trends and the latest developments within the API and CMS spaces.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Engineering, or a related field, plus seven (7) years of post-baccalaureate experience working in technology. Additionally, requires: Five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience managing development projects from design through implementation; Three (3) years of post-baccalaureate experience in each of the following: With API concepts, API gateway, and API/Proxy Management, Drupal (a CMS platform), API strategies within the financial/banking industry, With Agile methodologies with Atlassian products, With development resources to coordinate releases in a cross-functional environment, and Development management and IT architecture design/implementation experience including driving estimates and dates for work items, and technical design against complex requirements; and one (1) year of experience with Apigee and Apigee Edge.
