Job Summary

The Sr. Product Consultant will help drive profitable growth as we implement new products, pricing and underwriting into our largest market of Texas. This role requires a creative and dynamic collaborator that can leverage their understanding of the insurance market to drive decisions and action today and be a leader in building out a best-in-class insurance product organization.

What You Will Do As A Insurance Sr. Product Consultant
Customize actions for the Texas markets to ensure the successful implementation of new product, pricing, and underwriting actions for profitable growth.
Identify detailed market dynamics and implement actions with your functional partners to drive profitable growth from those insights.
Go deep to win within their markets to drive detailed outcomes for profitable growth.
Maintain loss ratio discipline and risk tolerance while achieving growth in assigned market.
Ensure forecasts and business objectives account for current and likely market conditions.
Develop Risk Management strategy and actions that can drive growth in this large Independent Agency market.
Ensure effective management of catastrophe risk and concentration risk as we achieve growth objectives and develop pricing component that adjusts as new business changes concentration.
Analyze and understand key competitors and competitor strategies in your markets; share and utilize this information to develop effective initiatives with organization partners.
Build out additional competitive intelligence information and tools as needed.
Regularly report on product performance and make datadriven decisions to optimize results.
Recommend KPIs and metrics to improve product performance tracking.
Ensure all products meet the needs and expectations of customers; incorporate customer feedback into product development and improvement.
Work closely with the underwriting, marketing, sales, IT, and operations teams to ensure cohesive and effective product initiatives.
Develop holistic solutions with senior leadership engagement.
Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
Identify and develop crossfunctional processes that improve regional team dynamics while creating both efficiency and effectiveness.

What You Will Bring As A Insurance Sr. Product Consultant
Bachelor's degree; Business, Marketing, Finance, Actuarial or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in product management, actuarial, finance or related roles within the insurance industry (minimum 2+ in Texas homeowners insurance).
Experience across multiple customer segments: Preferred, Standard, Nonstandard.
Proven track record of successful product changes and strategic initiatives.
Deep understanding of personal lines insurance and reinsurance, including trends, regulations, and competitive landscape.
Team management experience and the ability to inspire and drive crossfunctional teams toward common goals.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with strong data proficiency.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate complex issues clearly to partners and stakeholders.

Pay Range*: $112,500 - $157,500 annually

*Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, jobrelated knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.
