Job description

Sales Operations Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned, detail-oriented, individual to join our Sales Operations Team. The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales organization through reporting, data analysis, CRM management, and process optimization for both sales data and enablement content. This role will partner closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights, maintain accurate data, support forecasting and pipeline management, and improve operational workflows. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and proactive with strong communication skills, CRM experience, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

The Sales Operations Specialist works closely with the Sales Operations Team, Sales Leadership, Channel Management Team, and cross-functional departments. This role will ensure sales processes are documented, measurable, and efficiently executed. This position plays a key role in strengthening pipeline tracking, supporting bid readiness, maintaining proposal content governance, and enhancing overall sales productivity.

Primary Responsibilities

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Support forecasting preparation and pipeline data accuracy.
  • Assist with revenue tracking, reporting, and inquiries.
  • Assist with development of standardized sales reporting.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase sales efficiency and reduce cycle time.
  • Ensure operational alignment between sales, channel, and legal where applicable.

Sales Process & Quoting Operations

  • Manage and track Deal Registration processes, ensuring timely submission and documentation accuracy.
  • Support sales team on various CRM functions focusing on opportunity and activity management and the sales quoting process.
  • Partner with Sales and Channel Leadership to ensure sales operations items receive appropriate actions and are completed and tracked.
  • Maintain centralized tracking of all bid activity, including status, deadlines, and outcomes.
  • Proactively monitor for potential bid opportunities in coordination with Sales Leadership.

Sales Enablement & Content Governance

  • Assist with management and organization of sales language, standardized responses, and technical responses into centralized content libraries
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify knowledge gaps and create support materials to improve sales productivity
  • Provide SharePoint administration support related to sales documentation and enablement resources.
 

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Inside Sales Support, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience with CRM systems, quoting platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data cleaning and reporting for large and small data sets
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain professional discretion.
