Schedule: 8AM - 4:30PM Monday - Friday


Job Summary

The Residential Services Coordinator supports the daily operations of residential treatment

facilities by coordinating staffing coverage, enforcing client behavior standards, ensuring

basic supply readiness, and maintaining a clean, safe, and recovery-focused environment.

This role facilitates communication between program leadership and frontline residential

staff and plays a key role in upholding treatment culture, facility readiness, and logistical

accountability across shifts.


Essential Functions

  • Monitor dormitory and shared areas to ensure cleanliness, order, and safety.
  • Conduct walkthroughs and supply checks for bedrooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces.
  • Document maintenance concerns and coordinate with Facilities staff for resolution.
  • Support client transitions, including room assignments, admissions, and discharges.
  • Staff Coordination and Leadership
  • Support onboarding of new Residential Technicians with on-the-job training and walkthroughs.
  • Coordinate patient external appointments and driver dispatch for program efficiency and ensure quality patient care.
  • Ensure that shift logs, client sign-in sheets, and incident reports are completed accurately.
  • Ensure detox logs, medication administration, shift notes, and communication notes are completed timely, and accurately.
  • Address low-level behavioral issues and elevate concerns to the Residential Services Manager when appropriate.
  • Provide shift-level supervision and serve as the lead when the manager is off-site.
  • Manage basic inventories of bedding, hygiene products, kitchen goods, and cleaning supplies.
  • Prepare rooms for new client admissions and restock client welcome kits and orientation packets
  • Ensure appropriate client-to-bed assignments and uphold curfew and pass policies.
  • Complete incident reports, facility checklists, and cleanliness audits.
  • Ensure proper documentation of behavioral incidents, safety concerns, and shift summaries.
  • Adhere to all ARS policies and procedures regarding residential living expectations and recovery norms.



Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 yearsโ€™ experience in residential services, behavioral health, or supportive housing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and comfort working in a structured environment.
  • Familiarity with recovery principles, trauma-informed care, and respectful communication.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with EHR systems.
  • Adhere to and enforce ethical and professional boundaries
  • Ability to de-escalate conflict and model recovery-oriented conduct
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Fit for duty Health Screen & negative or noncommunicable TB test result
  • Valid Drivers License & clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a standard background check
  • Prior experience in a shift-lead or coordinator-level role preferred
  • Basic understanding of DHCS facility expectations preferred
