Location: Based in Spring House, PA with projects throughout the surrounding area.

True North Construction is a residential remodeling and design-build company serving the Spring House, PA area. The company specializes in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, basements, outdoor living spaces, and whole-home remodeling, with a focus on quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and a well-managed client experience.


True North Construction is looking for a hands-on Residential Construction Superintendent to help manage residential remodeling projects while also being willing and able to self-perform carpentry and field work when needed. This role is ideal for someone with a strong carpentry background, solid leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors, communicate clearly, and keep projects moving forward. The right person will be comfortable managing job sites, solving problems in the field, and helping deliver high-quality work that reflects the company's standards.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day residential remodeling job site activity
  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, schedules, and field priorities
  • Self-perform carpentry and hands-on work as needed
  • Read plans, understand scopes of work, and help ensure project details are executed correctly
  • Communicate clearly with the owner, team members, subcontractors, and clients
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
  • Identify project issues early and help create practical solutions
  • Support quality control from rough construction through final details
  • Help ensure projects are completed with craftsmanship, integrity, and care



Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of residential construction or remodeling experience preferred
  • Strong carpentry background required
  • Previous foreman, lead carpenter, superintendent, or project leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and keep work organized in the field
  • Good computer and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Reliable transportation to travel between job sites
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Must be comfortable working on active residential remodeling job sites
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in active residential construction environments.
