Job description

Graduate MVP Internship - Marketing Vanguard Program (MVP)
Become a Part of the NIKE, Inc. Team
NIKE, Inc. does more than outfit the world's best athletes. It is a place to explore potential, obliterate boundaries and push out the edges of what can be. The company looks for people who can grow, think, dream and create. Its culture thrives by embracing diversity and rewarding imagination. The brand seeks achievers, leaders and visionaries. At Nike, it's about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving game.
NIKE is one of the most recognizable brands in the world. That brand dominance is achieved through every facet of our business - from innovative products to five-star mobile apps to amazing consumer experiences. Nike's Worldwide Marketing team powers storytelling and experiences that bring the brand strategies to life for our consumers. We employ the most creative people in the world, and then give them the support to constantly innovate, iterate, and form lasting relationships with consumers. Our teams are innovative, diverse, multidisciplinary, and collaborative, taking marketing into the future and bringing the world with it.
As a Marketing Vanguard Program Graduate Intern, you will join us as a strategic contributor. You'll be expected to engage deeply with real business priorities, collaborate with experienced leaders and crossfunctional partners, and take ownership of meaningful work that supports brand and business objectives. The internship combines handson, onthejob experience with leadership mentorship and targeted development, preparing highperforming interns for continued growth and future leadership opportunities within Nike.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH:
As a Marketing Vanguard Program MBA Intern, you'll be embedded within a Nike Marketing team aligned to a critical brand or business priority and will own and deliver a defined project that supports the team's strategic objectives. While intern placements are determined later in the process, all MVP interns collaborate closely with experienced marketers, crossfunctional partners, and senior leaders across the organization-working at the intersection of brand strategy, consumer insights, creativity, and execution. Through experiential project work, functional programming, and leadership engagement, you'll gain exposure to the breadth of Nike's marketing ecosystem while contributing work that influences how the brand shows up for consumers. This role is designed for individuals who are ready to lead, make informed decisions, and drive meaningful impact-not simply observe how great marketing gets done.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for MBA candidates who are digitalfirst marketers with a strong foundation of prior internship experience, transferable professional backgrounds, and academic depth, and who are passionate about fusing art and science to shape the future of marketing. This opportunity is well suited for individuals who are advancing in their careers or intentionally pivoting into marketing and are seeking immersive, highimpact work across the full marketing lifecycle-from concept and strategy through production and activation. Successful candidates bring confidence, leadership potential, and a clear point of view, and are ready to contribute meaningfully, collaborate effectively, and help move marketing initiatives forward.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON:
In the NIKE, Inc. Summer Internship Program, you'll contribute to highpriority, real business initiatives aligned to Nike's strategic roadmap. With the guidance of experienced managers and senior leaders, you'll take ownership of a clearly scoped project designed to drive impact-challenging your critical thinking, strengthening collaboration, and contributing directly to your team's goals.
As a Marketing Vanguard Program MBA Intern, you'll apply this ownership within Worldwide Marketing, contributing to a meaningful, realworld marketing assignment aligned to a key brand or business priority. You'll work closely with experienced marketers and crossfunctional partners to help shape consumerright marketing plans, taking responsibility for defined components of larger initiatives and gaining insight into how marketing strategy is developed, executed, and brought to life at scale.
Examples of project work may include:
  • Partnering on elements of holistic seasonal gotomarket plans

  • Supporting the development and refinement of brand plans

  • Researching and synthesizing social, cultural, digital, and sport trends to identify insights that inform future marketing strategies

In addition to project work, you'll collaborate regularly with senior team members through working sessions, reviews, and presentations-gaining perspective on how marketing leaders translate insight into action. You'll also be part of a Marketing Vanguard Program cohort, navigating a shared experience across the Nike matrix through functional programming, leadership exposure, and peer collaboration.
