Job description

Job Title: Information Systems Security Analyst
Company: Altus Engineering

Salary: $110,000-150,000
Position Overview: We are seeking an Information Systems Security Analyst to work with the Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME) providing cybersecurity and Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) support to the Program Office and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the JTCG/ME Program Office and Integrated Product Teams using technical knowledge in the area of cybersecurity.
  • Participate in the planning, development, implementation, and documentation of technical security solutions for software throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Develop, update, and execute RMF strategic planning and road mapping of RMF actions required for multiple software packages.
  • Develop and update documentation and artifact information assurance requirements for JTCG/ME products.
  • Serve as the administrator of JTCG/ME Product eMASS instances and serve as the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) / Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for software products.
  • Coordinate with other ISSMs/ISSOs, Security Control Accessors, and Authorizing Officials as necessary to ensure cybersecurity requirements for JTCG/ME efforts and programs are met.
  • Consult and support (Development, Security, Operation) DevSecOps development line analyses and on-boarding activities for the Program Office and JTCG/ME Integrated Product Teams

Qualifications/Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Cybersecurity or a related discipline
  • 7 years' experience in cybersecurity with a detailed knowledge of the RMF process and eMASS administration
  • Security+ CE or higher DoD 8570 Certification
  • Experience with common programming languages (e.g., C/C++/C#, Java)
  • Experience deploying software products to the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to comprehend and adhere to relevant DoD instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ideal candidate should be a self-starter and problem solver who can manage time and expectations efficiently
  • Experience with static code analysis/dynamic analysis
  • Travel: Up to 5%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance with Top Secret eligibility and be able to maintain this level of clearance.
