Job description

The Baillie Group's Wagner Lumber location, in Owego, NY, is hiring for a General Laborer who will also run forklift occasionally. This position is a full time opportunity working for a world class hardwood lumber manufacturer.
General Labor - Forklift Operator Pay & Benefits:
  • Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $17 - $19/hour*
  • Overtime Hours & Pay
  • Full Plan of Benefits Including health and life insurance, paid vacation and paid holidays!

General Labor - Forklift Operator Requirements:
  • Pull and stack lumber based on company specifications
  • Operate forklift to pull packs off dry line safely as needed
  • Pace 4 bands evenly on packs
  • Stencil pack information on packs neatly
  • Use forklift to transport packs throughout warehouse as needed
  • Sort lumber on stacker

General Labor - Forklift Operator Education & Experience:
  • Previous experience as a forklift op preferred but not required
  • Previous experience stacking lumber preferred but not required
  • Previous experience working on a farm is a plus!
  • High School degree preferred, but not required
