Job Summary

The Digital Data Analyst uses measurement tools to configure, analyze, report, and optimize the digital experience of our audiences. Reporting to the Digital Insights Manager, this position uses data-driven insights to improve digital strategies. The Digital Data Analyst must convert insights into strategic opportunities and apply their data expertise to help solve real-world business problems. This position creates digital data stories and connects the dots for business partners, serving as a subject matter expert for campaign reporting and website metrics. As part of the Creative Digital Strategy team, this role helps infuse digital and data-first thinking into communications initiatives across the enterprise.

Essential Functions

  • Help guide the end-to-end campaign benchmarking, goal setting, analytics configuration, and reporting process for all digital public affairs initiatives.
  • Compile Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual data summaries for our business partners.
  • Analyze, structure, and interpret large volumes of raw data into effective visual stories for business owners.
  • Work directly with Advertising to help measure and report on campaign metrics.
  • Identify insights and create data stories from internal and external metrics to drive greater impact and understanding of data.
  • Coach business partners on how to best us available data to optimize content, increase conversion and improve user experience on digital platforms.
  • Educate stakeholders on data best practices to improve data literacy across the organization.
  • Stay up to date of digital trends, emerging tools, and industry best practices to inform digital strategy development and execution.
  • Create SOPs and SLAs for digital data services.
  • Research market and competitive insights into actionable recommendations for optimizing digital marketing campaigns, content strategies, and user experiences.
  • Support the tagging strategy across sites by creating tags and developing testing opportunities to enhance capabilities.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in digital communications, marketing, data analytics or similar area of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 or more years working in data analytics, data science, or a related field.

Other Skills

  • Skilled in Adobe Analytics, or a similar tool for tracking website metrics.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability.
  • Knowledge of KPIs and performance metrics relevant to business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations using strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Time management and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and an extensive list of stakeholders within the organization.
  • Experience using SQL is a plus.
