Role: Database Consultant
Location: West Valley City-UT
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Visa: USC/GC
Job Description:
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
Oracle DBMS , Windows and Unix
What skills/attributes are a must have?
Strong proficiency in Oracle (7+ years)
Knowledge of data architecture (3 years), standards and best practices
Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements
Knowledge of database features
Experience on architecting and designing database solutions
Be able to benchmark and present findings
Proficient understanding and use of code versioning tools (such as Git / SVN)
Self-motivated and highly accountable
Basic Unix experience (navigation, script maintenance, system monitoring)

Qualifications

What skills/attributes are nice to have?
Experience w/ SQL Server or MySQL
Agile Team experience
Usage of Source Control tools (SVN, etc)
Medical Industry and/or Coding experience
