Description
At BHDIC, we're building a cloud-first, API-driven, dynamic insurance platform that empowers customers to purchase insurance policies directly online. As we continue to scale, we're expanding our team with experienced technology professionals to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure.
We are seeking a Cloud Administrator to join our Cloud Administration team. This role will work closely with other BHDIC IT teams to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure.
The Cloud Administrator will play a key role in managing the existing cloud infrastructure and implementing improvements to the environment. This may include improvements to the performance, useability and security of the environment. This position will focus on the infrastructure for the biBerk line of business and will over time become the subject matter expert in this area.
This position can be filled as a Cloud Administrator or a Senior Cloud Administrator depending on specific candidate experience.
This is a hybrid remote role that requires onsite presence in Pittston, PA at least once every other month. Candidates must live within a reasonable driving distance of either the Pittston, PA or Omaha, NE BHDIC office for required onsite meetings as needed in whichever BHDIC office is local to the employee.
Job Responsibilities
  • Design and manage Azure IaaS infrastructure
  • Design and manage Azure PaaS infrastructure
  • Administer Active Directory
  • Administer Office 365
  • Manage security configurations within Azure and Entra (Conditional Access Policies, Named Locations, Risky Users)
  • Administer security tools such as Cisco Umbrella, Trend Micro WFBS (endpoints), Trend Micro Vision One (servers), Trellix FireEye (endpoints and servers), AdminByRequest privilege management
  • Provide advanced support to users and developers when issues are escalated by Helpdesk. An example of a complex issue developers face occasionally is due to HTTPS inspection (Cisco Umbrella)
  • Deploy and manage Windows based virtual machines
  • Work with other members of the team to troubleshoot escalated issues in Azure, Entra and Office365, and SaaS apps
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Related field or equivalent working experience
  • 5+ Years of proven experience in a cloud admin\system admin\network admin or similar role
  • Ability to work from 8:00AM-4:30PM local time

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
