Job description

Our Cook / Kitchen Staff is responsible for preparing and executing recipes to standard by following process and policies of all operational standards of the kitchen. Cook experience is not necessary.
Cook Responsibilities:
  • Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
  • Maintain accurate food inventories
  • Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
  • Rotate stock items as per established procedures
  • Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
  • Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift

We're looking for Cook with:
  • A strong commitment to excellent customer service and food quality
  • Able to read and follow standardized recipes
  • Previous experience in a restaurant/bakery (entry level employees also welcome)
  • Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
  • A desire to work in a supportive fun work environment
  • CA Food Handler's Card required (servesafe also acceptable)
