Letnes Restaurant Group owns and operates over two dozen restaurants and other businesses—and we’re growing aggressively—across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We’re looking for an experienced, personable, and hands-on Payroll Administrator to join our corporate office team in Waite Park, MN.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and values accuracy, timeliness, and strong communication.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Own and manage the full end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Administer and maintain payroll systems (ADP)
- Process garnishments, terminations, and other payroll changes in compliance with applicable laws
- Maintain integrity of all payroll data
- Support ACA/1095 reporting and manage annual W-2 processing
- Monitor payroll-related costs and identify efficiencies
- Track and follow up on notifications within ADP and related systems
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding: Pay discrepancies, Tax withholdings, and Direct deposit issues
- Assist employees with ADP access and payroll-related questions
- Manage employee receivables and collections as needed
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Manage tax notices and audits in partnership with ADP
- Support annual EEO-1 reporting with data integrity and reporting pulls
- Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) processes
- Manage unclaimed property (Checks) in accordance with state requirements
Auditing & Systems Maintenance
- Conduct pre- and post-payroll audits to ensure accuracy of wages, hours, and deductions
- Maintain up-to-date system permissions, access, settings, and company codes across payroll and related platforms
Team Support & Collaboration
- Provide payroll support to restaurant management teams
- Partner with ownership, leadership, and HR to support business operations
- Communicate clearly and professionally with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
Additional Duties
- Take on other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience with ADP strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
