SUMMARY:

Dolcefino Communications, LLC, is a unique investigative media firm, privately funded since 2012, that investigates and exposes public corruption, injustice, and fraud across multiple social media platforms. Our sites have already generated more than five million views a month.

Dolcefino Media is seeking a social media content producer to investigate social media footprints, digital relationships, and the production and distribution of Dolcefino Media content to news organizations and social media groups. This position will be critical to our social media footprint.

There will be some administrative duties for the office, and like all employees, you will be expected to provide assistance to the President of the firm as otherwise needed.

Dolcefino Media and Dolcefino Consulting form the two prongs of our company. Our media firm documents our journalism investigations and production work. Dolcefino Consulting engages in political and media consulting, crisis management, reputation management, and litigation support.

The President of Dolcefino Media is Wayne Dolcefino, a longtime investigative reporter for KTRK TV in Houston and a 30-time Emmy Award-winning investigative journalist.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

§  Experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

§  Social media skills, preferably with experience in a print or television  

§  Ability to assist in running Lexis Nexis searches and records requests.

§  Ability to write and edit effectively.

§  Ability to assist in filing, answering the phone, and transcription of case management.

§  Experience of working at a law firm, investigative or production agency, or news media is preferred but not required.

Dolcefino Consulting is an extremely fast-paced 24-hour workplace environment, so we need a candidate who will thrive in a company known for its aggressive posture.

Hours are typically 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Overtime may be required.

Compensation will be determined based on qualifications.
