Responsibilities for Host Hostess
โ€ข Answer the phone and input customer reservations accurately into the computer
โ€ข Make daily calls to customers to confirm their upcoming reservations
โ€ข Greet all customers as they enter the restaurant
โ€ข Seat customers according to the established plan that ensures all waitstaff gets filled tables
โ€ข Keep front desk and waiting area clean
โ€ข Ensure takeout menus, special events information and cards remain stocked
Qualifications for Host Hostess
โ€ข 2 years of restaurant experience fine dining in similar restaurant
โ€ข Able to answer a multi-line office telephone
โ€ข Keen attention to detail in order to track guest reservations
โ€ข Excellent customer service skills
โ€ข Friendly and outgoing personality
โ€ข Experience with electronicย reservation system
โ€ข Follow appropriate food safety guidelines
โ€ข Able to work a variety of shifts, holidays, weekends
