Pay Range: $140,000 to $180,000 (salaried exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Senior Director of IT Operations, you are responsible for ensuring a stable, secure, and scalable technology environment that enables the organization to operate efficiently and deliver an exceptional employee experience. This role leads enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, service delivery, and operational standardization while supporting organizational growth, system reliability, and long-term operational efficiency.

As a Senior Director of IT Operations, you will:

Lead IT Service Delivery & Excellence

  • Oversee the organization’s IT support model, including service delivery, incident management, request fulfillment, escalation processes, and workflow standardization while improving service consistency, response times, operational efficiency, and end-user experience through scalable, standardized systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Oversee Infrastructure, Systems Reliability & Cybersecurity

  • Lead infrastructure operations across network, cloud, server, endpoint, and systems environments while ensuring high availability, scalability, performance optimization, cybersecurity protection, risk mitigation, incident response readiness, and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Drive Vendor Management & Technology Performance

  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, managed service providers, and technology partners by establishing performance expectations, service standards, accountability measures, vendor evaluations, and strategic alignment that support operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, and organizational priorities.

Strengthen Alignment & Process Improvement

  • Partner across departments to support operational readiness for new initiatives, system implementations, workflow improvements, automation opportunities, organizational changes, and data reliability while ensuring clear communication, operational consistency, and alignment between technology operations and enterprise goals.

Lead Team Development & Organizational Support

  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing IT operations teams across service desk, infrastructure, and security functions by establishing accountability, supporting professional development, strengthening operational ownership, and fostering a culture focused on service, reliability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Strong understanding of network architecture, cloud environments, endpoint management, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Experience managing vendors, contracts, and external partners.
  • Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
  • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team members, residents, and community partners.
