Key responsibilities include:
  • Support the development and execution of communications strategies aligned with Prologis Energy business objectives and broader corporate priorities.

  • Translate complex energy, utility and regulatory concepts-including interconnection, rate structures, grid capacity, DER integration and wholesale/retail market dynamics-into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences.

  • Maintain and apply consistent message frameworks across multiple stakeholder groups.

  • Manage inbound media inquiries in coordination with senior communications leaders.

  • Draft statements, press materials, FAQs, executive talking points, bylines, op-eds and briefing documents.

  • Partner closely with Government Affairs and Legal to ensure alignment on public policy positioning, regulatory sensitivities and disclosure considerations.

  • Apply sound judgment in assessing reputational risk and opportunity in a fast-moving, highly scrutinized environment.

  • Support reporting on communications metrics.

  • Reinforce communications governance, including approvals, spokesperson policies and compliance considerations.

  • Build credibility across internal functions.

  • Manage and prioritize multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.

Building blocks for success:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in communications, public relations or related fields.

  • Agency experience required.

  • Experience communicating in the U.S. utility sector, energy infrastructure, grid operations or regulated energy markets.

  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. utility operations, regulatory frameworks, rate structures and interconnection processes.

  • Experience supporting media relations, corporate communications programs, issues management and/or public affairs initiatives.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with strong editorial judgment and command of AP style

  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in high-visibility, sensitive situations.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude).

  • Can contribute to a high-performing team culture with energy, positivity and a sense of fun

Preferred:
  • Public policy acumen in energy regulation, utility proceedings or state/federal energy policy.

  • Experience in infrastructure, real estate or other highly regulated sectors.

Hiring Salary Range of: $118,000 - $136,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
